This is a fabulous paper that you embroidery directly on. It is the ONLY paper manufacturered specifically for machine embroidery. It is not just cardstock you could buy at Office Depot or even at a commercial print shop. Because it is so unique, you will be hearing much more about this paper in magazines and even see it on the Oprah show in December.
This paper is able to hold thousands of stitches without punching through, In fact, we haven't stitched a design on this paper that you could punch the design out once you have finished embroidering on it. The paper has an excellent finish on it that tells anyone who picks it up that it is an extremely high quality paper.
This paper is great for custom notecards, invitations, bookmarks, name tags - just about anything you want to embroider on paper.
To embroider on it, hoop a piece of adhesive stabilizer with the silicone release paper up, remove the silicone release paper and center your card on your hoop. Embroider and remove the adhesive paper from the back.
This paper works great with the Magna Hoop if you want to avoid the use of adhesive paper. Also, choose a colored bobbin thread that matches your top thread for a more professional finish. On our website, you'll find the adhesive paper under stabilizers, the Magna Hoops under Magna Hoop and the colored bobbin threads under Bobbin Thread then select Pro's Choice Colored Polyester Clear-Sided Prewounds.
This paper is currently available only in white and is 8 1/2" x 5 1/4". It can be folded into notecards or cut to smaller sizes. Printing with an ink jet printer is recommended. One white A2 sized envelope is included for each sheet ordered.
